DescriptionThe project is generally described as the clearing of .36 acres through the existing canopy for two new trails on Spruce Peak. One trail will serve beginner skiers, and second trail will serve as emergency access to a small glade between the East Run and Upper Meadow trails. Each trail will be 22’ wide (width of a groomer) and 350’ long. Approximately 64 trees total with an average diameter of 5.6 inches will be removed and chipped on-site. The existing canopy between the two trails, approximately 250’ to 300’ wide, will be retained.
