Channel did not appear to be incised. There is aggradation, islands and flood chutes, especially in lower part of segment where the valley walls widen. Quite a bit of sand was noted in the channel. The channel was braided in one isolated area. The sand appears to be coming from the stream banks and wetland area. Logging may also be contributing to the fine sediment load. The pebble count was bimodal and the fining estimate was high (71%). Some minor widening was noted with minimal erosion. The channel has good planform with moderate sinuosity in most areas. There is moss on the banks and in the channel, indicating a stable flow regime. Stage F-IV of the channel evolution was selected to indicate planform and aggradation are occurring (and some minor widening), but the channel did not appear have gone through an incision process.
