Comments
Historically straightened wetland. Channel generally dry except for areas where it transitions into cattail marsh. Downstream end of segment is characterized by cattail marsh. This transitions to what appears to be straightened channel. There is a good project area on left bank downstream of the Route 73 crossing where the stream is confined within a pasture. Relocation of the fence would serve to improve water quality and plantings would improve stream overall stream health.
