Comments

The habitat on this reach is phenomenal: huge refuge areas with lateral connectivity, accessible at a variety of flow levels; massive woody debris creating pool features, steps, and debris jams; excellent shade from an intact canopy and native riparian shrubs extending from banks well into uplands; deep undercuts with mature brook trout darting in and out.
