Comments:
This short segment of 900 feet is highly incised. It is directly downstream of a small impoundment (date impounded? - at least 25 years old) which may have altered the sediment supply and caused the incision. There have also been human caused changes in valley width due to a road encroachment. Incision has led to a stream type departure from a C channel to a B stream type - although the very upper end (~200 feet) of the segment where there is a grade control may be B by reference due to the slope and valley walls. The culvert under Eastham Road seems to be a major channel and floodplain constriction with a sharp upstream bend into it and a failing retaining wall due to road stormwater runoff.
