Comments:
A highly managed channel that flows through a residential area of Shrewsbury. Heavy channel straightening and bank armoring have causes a departure from a C channel to a B channel and have eliminated much of the habitat value of the segment. Much riparian vegetation has been removed making this the first area of the river where thermal pollution is an issue.
