Segment has seen extensive channel straightening, dredging and windrowing. Several channel constricting structures will likley need ongoing maintenance, or see high degrees of instability upstream and downstream. Located at a major break in slope and near the end of the river the loss of floodplain attenuation in this segment is likely exacerbating the instability in segment A. Although limitations exist due to structures and residences in the corridor, a berm removal or relocation project may be feasible in some areas of this reach in order to allow for some floodplain attenuation. An industrial water diversion exists at the top of this segment.
