Comments:
Reach has been radically altered. It is piped through a culvert under the property at The Inn at the Mountain. It is channelized and riprapped up until The Lodge and then is piped underground again at the parking lot for the Lodge. In the parking lot is an open storm drain that enters right into the stream. Stream has a rejuventating tributary coming in at the Lodge. Stream may have been re-routed and dredged through The Lodge property. Due to the extent of the alterations and channel dimension changes, this reach was segmented to include the culvert section at the Inn and continue until the wetland area of segment D.
The upper part of the segment near the lodge has a higher width to depth ratio and is a "C" channel. Downstream of the lodge, near the tennis courts, is channelized and has a low width to depth ratio, resulting in a "E" channel morphology due to the alteration.
