Intermittent B- and C- range entrenchment, but valley is generally broader and so classed as C-type stream. Field estimated slope is ~3 pct; GIS calc indicates 4 pct plus. Segment much more heavily impacted by human encroachment and activity than remainder of reach proceeding US. Dredging and channelization common post-Irene, some bar scalping. Surface water inputs considerable (some with tributary inputs, some without); mass failures, debris jams and major avulsions common in Irene.
