Comments:
Segment is on likely delta-alluvial fan at edge of glacial Lake Hitchcock with cobbly soils dominant upstream (pebbly sand is dominant native material in this segment). Significant dozing post-Irene makes it difficult to know if overall reach reference is plane-bed (slope of ~2.7 pct and Narrow valley for much longer segment B are a fit) or whether this is solely a result of channelization and dredging. Extensive dozing-channelization post-Irene; several constructed steps placed to arrest head cutting after dredging. Root ball wads also placed but not clear these were significantly anchored; land owner says some have washed out already in recent high flows.
