Comments:
Multiple mass failures and extensive bank erosion. The landuse is mostly agricultural. Reach revisited by GGA and SNP 10/21/09. Reach is aggradational, especially in the viscinity of the large mass failures just downstream of Rt. 2. Multiple headcuts were noted in the previous assessment and degradation was noted as an active process. It is likely that steep riffles were misinterpreted as head cuts. Two of the headcuts were removed from the FIT. One was left alone as it was unclear if the feature was aggradational or indeed a nick point/scour feature associated with an imminent neck cutoff. In general, the reach is aggradational and dominant active processes are widening and planform change.
