Comments:
Walled-in segment (this is the 'Other' channel constriction, as well as primary reason for C to E STD) in Chelsea Village. Check dams installed downstream of Maple Ave bridge (in next segment) to limit incision, but riffles/steps eroded in this segment; DS half is plane bed. True valley wall difficult to determine as aggregate of buildings on both banks form effective valley wall, though permeable to some degree; stone wall on left bank is 10' height above water. Floodprone area drops to 140 ft and entrenchment ratio to 4.0 if houses on RB are accounted as effective VW. Walls are mostly laid stone, technically non-cohesive but resistant to erosion and transferring impacts DS in all but moderate or higher-level floods, when floodplain is accessed.
