Comments:
Extensive forest cover limited Irene impacts to scour on banks, though there was plenty of sediment movement. Trib rejuvenation likely related to impacts of Irene up on the trib rather than in response to processes on this stream. Used +/-2 w/d ratio ‘fudge factor’ to classify as a C-type stream due to these primary factors: lower than expected sinuosity for an E-type stream; lack of characteristic verticality in bank morphology; alternating pockets of floodplain rather than a broader more well-developed floodplain; and woody rather than herbaceous vegetation.
