The reach is more like a field ditch. Historic straightening related with agricultural practices. Riffles had been eroding due to straightening for farming practices. Parts of reach not assessed due to wetland complexes along the stream, phragmite and cattail present along stream. Corn farm on right bank, hay field on left bank, cut closed stream.
