Comments:
Moderately-steep bedrock-constrained reach. Bedrock frequently exposed along left and right valley walls. Channel-spanning bedrock (WF and ledge) present in downstream third of reach. Kelley Stand Rd (gravel) follows channel along RB for nearly the entire reach length. Road is sometimes elevated above the RB stream terrace. Sections of gravel/cobble berm are present frequently along RB to protect Kelley Stand Rd and occasional residences. Degree of incision (historic). Floodplain features often elevated by berms and occasionally by Kelley Stand Rd. Occasional residences along RB corridor. One wooden footbridge (FPW-constriction) crosses channel mid-reach to access a camp high on LB valley wall. Multiple stormwater inputs along RB: direct sediment runoff and/or road culvert runoff from road flows either directly to the channel or via flood chutes which are filled at bankfull stage. Possible straightening inferred at downstream end of reach upstream of Kansas Rd bridge crossing. Gravel extraction/dredging inferred from extensive berming and from anecdotal accounts (especially post-1973 flood).
