Comments:
Topographic contours suggest a small alluvial fan like setting at the upstream extent of the reach. This location of localized slope reduction was likely more actively depositional in post-glacial times under more substantial flow and sediment regimes and prior to significant vegetation of the landscape. Route 30 bridge is a bankfull constrictor. Historic straightening is inferred (linear planform). Commercial encroachment (lumber yard) along the LB. 1.5-inch black plastic irrigation pipe and pump along LB for possible past irrigation use (lumber yard now mostly vacant).
