Comments:
Valley broadens and segment has narrow confinement. Bedform is predominately riffle-pool w/ sub-dominant bedform of plane bed. The many partial and full debris jams have aided in the formation of riffle-pool sequences. The deposition noted in the segment appears to be natural as meander development and floodplain processes are healthy. Phase 1 valley width estimated at 170 ft for reach. Road encroachment from Route 132 has led to a slightly smaller width - human caused change noted in Step 1 as a result. Channel avulsion that was FITed is historic and is now acting as a flood chute.
