Comments Human-caused reduction in valley width (1.5) is at downstream extent of reach, caused by Hanna Rd (outside of Phase 2 belt-width-derived corridor used to assess Step 1.3). Direct-pasture access mid-reach. AdjustmentNarrativeThe reach has extensive historic straightening and is slowly starting to move towards widening and planform adjustment. We selected Stage II due to moderate incision and limited evidence of active widening, likely due to low channel slope. The reach has good buffers and is a good candidate for restoration and/or easements. Minor adjustments in response to channelization and limited berming. Adjustments probably moderated by cohesive boundary conditions (silts/clays) and relatively low stream power due to limited drainage area.
