DredgingDredgingDredging
CommentsStream has been completed relocated for most of the reach. 100% straightened through the field. Channel dredged in late 1960s or early 1970s to divert a portion of flow through fields. Multiple ditchs/tiles drain paddocks along right bank and direct flow to this main ditch. Since 1995 surface water coverage follows main channel, features indexed along ditched portion of flow (including culv #2 in Table 4.8) are not accurately geo-referenced using FIT. Ditched channel was assessed. Original channel meanders through a wetland (E stream type). Shrub/saplings in 3.3 are actually herbaceous wetland vegetation.Different

AdjustmentNarrativeChannel has been extensively straightened, actual centerline is very different from VHD. Very low slope, no evidence of erosion or migration, channel is locked in place. Selected Poor for condition, planform scoring metrics are not appropriate for this segment. Despite extensive channelization, dredging, Segment D is exhibiting minor adjustments. See summary report for more detailed explanation.Different
