Comments Most likely braided by reference due to change in slope and alluvial fan conditions. Aggradation and braided bedform exacerbated by TSI. Debris that came down from TSI is also contributing to the braided condition.DifferentStep5.aspx Comments

AdjustmentNarrativeThe reach shows signs of recent incision and active aggradation with very large cobble/gravel bars filling the widened channel. Many food chutes both active and recently abandoned were observed. The reach is in Stage III transitioning to Stage IV, with limited evidence of active erosion along the flood scoured banks. FIV-->FV C4 Braided riffle pool channel. Likely a historic incision but active aggradation and planform is supporting a new healthy floodplain. Multiple avulsions and braiding through multiple channels likely the result in a slope and confinement change. Historic photos may support that this is an alluvial active area.DifferentStep7.aspx7.5Channel Adjustment Processes Narrative
