Assessments

Assessments based on habitat indexes developed by EPA’s National Lake Assessment program.

Habitat Comparisons

Comparison of the average habitat characteristics of sites around SEYMOUR with the average habitat characteritics at undeveloped and developed sites at other lakes in the state.

Disturbances

Disturbance components that make up the Lakeshore Disturbance score. ‘1.0’ indicates disturbance occurs in the immediate shoreline plot. ‘0.5’ indicates the disturbance occurs in an area proximal to, but not within, the immediate shoreline plot.

Comments: New owners near inlet #5 will call lakewise letting buffer grow along inlet and want to vegetate the shore. Camp under construction still. Cattle access the stream at 2 places upstream they say and rains this June washed their dock out. Inlet 1 ~127uS/cm no algae. Inlet 2~88uS/cm no algae. Inlet #3 ~250uS/cm with algae and plants present. Inlet #4 ~320uS/cm and algae present. Inlet #5 ~150uS/cm Spyrogyra algae present.
