Assessments

Assessments based on habitat indexes developed by EPA’s National Lake Assessment program.

Habitat Comparisons

Comparison of the average habitat characteristics of sites around LONG (WESTMR) with the average habitat characteritics at undeveloped and developed sites at other lakes in the state.

Disturbances

Disturbance components that make up the Lakeshore Disturbance score. ‘1.0’ indicates disturbance occurs in the immediate shoreline plot. ‘0.5’ indicates the disturbance occurs in an area proximal to, but not within, the immediate shoreline plot.

Water Quality

Comments: Did not have a rod to measure depth of sediment, used stick of similar diameter. Fine woody debris in stream in inlet 1. Inlet 3 not on NHD. Inlet 2 sediment delta noted as zero, but is a wetland area of 20x10m, ~200m2 at mouth, is it formed on an old delta or has the wetland always been there?
