Notified Brett Mayfield, Health Inspector for town of Hartford. Posted signs along wetland on park side. Emergency pump truck on site with highway traffic control and police officer. Began researching potential fails with town engineer. Started process of locating new valve and shut off. Scheduled pump truck every two days with Stearns. Vactor truck to clean and remove existing failed valve. by-pass until new valve arrives. Estimated outfall is less than 50 gallons as majority of sewage contained in pump station and valve pit. 7/23/2026 Operator is adding additional signage to notify public.
