Description Of Incident:
|
A valve from our sludge storage tank was left open by an employee after filling a smaller sludge tank. It is estimated that approximately 100,000-125,000 gallons of sludge overflowed out of the smaller tank into a catch basin. The discharge pipe from the basin empties into a drainage ditch roughly 200ft long before entering the Clyde river.
