Description Of Incident:
|
At the Montpelier Water Resource Recovery Facility there is a concrete channel which directs primary effluent from the primary clarifiers to the aeration tanks. A leak was discovered coming from this concrete channel at 6:30 a.m on 04/09/2019. A portion of the partially treated undisinfected effluent was able to flow across the ground and into a stormwater drain located near Montpelier's department of public works garage. This stormwater drain flows directly into the Dog River.
