The pumps were disabled immediately. The Town plans to pump the station throughout the night. A contractor is scheduled to make the repair tomorrow morning during daylight hours. This force main is scheduled to be replaced either this Fall or next Spring.

Description Of Incident:

Shelburne Police notified us of a leak at approximately 17:40. The operator arrived at 18:10 and switched the pumps to off. The leak is located in a force main for the Falls Bridge pump station. It appears that only one pump cycle took place.
