Coventry pump station failed, due to a broken bolt on a pump. Pump station was flooded. There was no sewage released onto the ground, but it is believed sewage was discharged into the ground through a leak in the wet well basin.
Update: Upon further investigation and excavation, it appears the sewage was contained within the wet well/dry pit and distribution system. There was no visual sign of sewage in the ground. There was no leak through the wall of the wet well as we initially thought.
