We sprayed down the effluent chamber, cleaned the baffle and turned up the chlorine. I submitted new samples to lab until we were in compliance. We usually clean the effluent contact chamber in the fall of each year. We skipped it last fall to see if we could get away with every other year. We know now that we must clean the effluent chamber every year.
