Description Of Incident:
|
Incident began on Monday 12/29 with a manhole overflowing at 77 Maple St. The Town Of Ludlow assisted us with their equipment and we found numerous "shop rags" while flushing. We were not able to clear the clog so we made arrangements for the following day. At approximately 9:00 Pm on the same day we received a call that homes on Rt 131 were experiencing sewer back ups. We discovered a manhole on Main St/ RT 131 was overflowing into two near by stormwater catch basins. This continued until approximately 08:30 AM the following day on 12/30.
