A temporary pump was hooked up by operators to direct the flow to the grit screw which gravity fed to the lagoons until the local septage truck was able to come and pump it down. Our engineers were called and the town notified. We called Electrical Installations who installed the RTU to trouble shoot it. We had a contractor who is also a more advanced operator come and temperarly get the pump running while EII trouble shot it. It appears that there was a short and it is being looked at currently. Lime was applied to the affected grass area

There was a power surge event that caused our RTU to not reset and not allow the influent pumps to operate in hand or auto. The computer reset and didnt launch the alarm and SCADA software so no operator was called. The operators manually started up the computer at 10 and no alarms were triggered because the RTU was not working properly. Water leaked out of the Influent pump wetwell into the surrounding field. It did not reach the river
