Description Of Incident:
|
Believed toxicity caused a Biological upset with flock formers, causing turbidity. Turbid effluent in turn affecting light transmission and UV effectiveness, causing ineffective treatment for E Coli. From 1/28/26 to 2/2/26 we calculated based upon daily flows that approximately 209,000 gallons of effluent was discharged exceeding our permit limit for E Coli. As of 2/2/26 we are back in compliance with our E Coli limits, but still experiencing some turbidity while we still fully recover from this upset.
