A chlorine residual was taken at the time of initial E.coli sampling (11/21) that was > 1.0 mg/l. A chlorine residual of >6 mg/l was taken at the time of resampling (11/24). Both E.coli resamples were <1.
Due to the initial chlorine residual I do not understand why there would be a high E.coli result. It only makes sense that there was either a sampling or lab error that contaminated the sample. Therefore there was most likely not a discharge of partially treated effluent.

Test results from contract lab on Wednesday evening (11/22) (results discovered on phone message Thursday (11/23)) indicated an E. coli of 800. Due to Thanksgiving the contract lab was closed and follow-up samples will be delivered on Friday.
The results from the Friday (11/24) resampling was <1 for both samples.
The chlorine residual on the initial sample was >1 mg/l which indicates that an E.coli of 800 is very unlikely. See below for additional information.
