there was a 5 hour power outage from the wind storm. during the power outage we also had heavy rain at times. We discharged 1.3mg during the power outage. The discharge was reported on the state web site as a separate incident. This report is for the E coli violation that occurred during the power outage. There is a backup generator on site that provides power to some of the ops building and the chemical building. The flow was so high during the power outage that we couldn't feed enough Sodium Hypochlorite for total E coli Kill. The flow was up to 8.0mg at times. The plant went back to normal operation when the power was restored.
