Description Of Incident:
|
Heavy rains last night and this morning have caused a brief combined sewer overflow from two locations on East Creek. CSOs serve as a "relief valve" in the sewer collection system when rain water overwhelms the capacity of the sewers. This prevents stormwater and wastewater from backing up onto streets and into buildings.
