High flows caused by yesterday’s rain event which totaled 0.89 inches and fell at a maximum rate of 0.33 inches per hour resulted in the discharge of a combination of sewage and stormwater from CSO#001 Calvary. This is an authorized discharge intended to protect the sewer system, to prevent overflows from other parts of the sewer system, and to prevent backups into homes and other buildings.
