Description Of Incident:

At 9:50 wastwwater was observed surfacing on Temple Street and flowing slowly to a catch basin that is connected to Moon Brook. A quick response by the Wastewater Collection crew cleared the main and restored flow. The volume entering the catch basin was so small it never reached the level of the outlet pipe, meaning the entire volume never left the sump. The catch basin was pumped out and there was no release to receiving waters.
