Description Of Incident:
|
Flooding across the entire City from 2.5" of rain in less than 24 hours following a major snowstorm resulted in hundreds of calls for street and residence flooding. One neighborhood affected was Ronaldo Court. While responding to the call staff discovered that a manhole near #31 was leaking slowly from beneath the cover and the water was flowing to Moon Brook nearby. Inspection of manholes upstream and downstream indicated a possible obstruction downstream. Early this morning the manhole was checked and the surcharge has stopped and water levels have returned back to normal. The exact time that the discharge stopped is not known.
