Description Of Incident:
|
High flows impacted the main pump station beginning in the afternoon hours of 12-11-24 and lasting into the early morning hours of 12-12-24. Normally only one pump operates at this pump station out of a 3-pump setup. At 4:51pm the operator on call was notified that a second pump had started operation. The operator checked the levels in the wetwell and found them to be climbing slowly. At 8:03pm the operator on call was notified of a high level alarm in the wet well. The operator returned to the station and confirmed two pumps were in operation. The operator confirmed that pumps were operating at full capacity and that everything had been done to minimize overflows.
