The correct button was pressed within 30 seconds. The Vac truck cleaned the basin that wastewater go into. It did not spread to the neighboring basin. They also washed down the road while they were sucking the basin to make sure no wastewater was left on the road

Description Of Incident:

Replacing a gate valve and check valve at pump station. Bypass valve was frozen shut so had to bypass pump station manually with Vac truck and pump truck. Vac truck was just emptied by pump truck and was about to start pumping again but the wrong button on the control was pushed causing a loss of suction and allowing some of what was in the hose to come out for less than 30 seconds
