Heavy rains caused flooding in the Intervale in Burlington. As a result the McNeil pump station is submerged. At this time the pump station appears to be operational, it is believed the pumps are maintaining the sewage flows as well as infiltrating river water. Staff is monitoring flood level and will assess pump station condition when water levels recede.
