Description Of Incident:
|
Staff from the Street Department was called in with a reported manhole overflow at Hillside Terrace 12/5/19 at 9pm. Upon arrival and inspection by Street Department staff at 9:45 pm the manhole was not overflowing, and it did not appear to have made it to the catch basin. They opened the manhole and discovered it was backed up due to a very large amount of grease. They cleaned the lines and verified proper flow was restored. On 12/6/2019 at 1pm Stormwater staff inspected the catch basins nearest the Hillside Terrace Manhole and discovered evidence, wastewater may have entered Waters of The State before Streets cleaned the lines the previous night.
