There was a sewer blockage in the main line. While the crew was onsite clearing the lines, the upstream manhole surcharged into a wooded area. Lime was immediately applied to the area. Sewer did not appear to reach the lake, but being in a wooded area close proximity to the lake, this was posted out of an abundance of caution..
