The Tanker pumped down the surcharged manhole and the Vactor cleared the obstruction in the line. At the same time, the nearby pump station was disabled which flowed into the sewer line, the catch basin was covered to prevent sewage from entering, lime was applied on the street and then the Catch basin was pumped out and cleaned.Follow up camera work and more line cleaning will occur today (3/31)

A blockage in the sewer pipe likely caused the surcharge from a sewer manhole on to Lake Street where some sewage flowed in to a nearby stormwater catch basin Because the storm outfall was surcharged, it is unknown if any sewage actually entered the lake. When pumping down the catch basin, water flowed back from the lake, and the crew believes the majority of the sewage was captured while pumping out the storm line.
