At 5:30am the Operator received a page from the WWTF. Upon arriving at the Plant the Operator observed the level in Basin 1A looked low and discovered it was still de-canting. The Operator immediately ended the de-cant and started looking for the cause. We determined the level transducer in Basin 1A had failed and replaced it that morning.

Description Of Incident:
|
The level transducer in SBR Basin 1A failed. This caused Basin 1A to de-cant 4' lower than current settings lowering the de-canter into solids. Between the water quality and the turbidity the UVs had limited effectiveness.
