At 11:30 am the water had receded to below the top of the berm so the wastewater is now contained within the berm. We have made arrangements to have pumper trucks on site to pump the tank out as soon as the road to the pump station is reopened. The plan is to continue pumping and hauling the wastewater to the WWTF until the pump station is operational.

Due to heavy rains the Missisquoi River flooded the entire area (including fields, homes, and roads) and rose to a level that breached the berm surrounding the pump station. The pump station is currently sitting in a "lake" of flood waters complete with white caps due to high winds.
