the affected manhole is in the woods and in a area thats difficult to get a machine to. we are also trying to obtain permission from the property owner who lives out of state. the plan is to be repairing the break monday, september 11.

the affected manhole is directly next to a small stream. the july 10 flood caused the stream to rise and overtake the manhole. the water washed away the earth surrounding the manhole exposing the 8-inch sewer pipe. debris in the water smashed the pipe exiting the manhole and removed a three foot section of the pipe causing the sewage to dump directly into the stream, which now surrounds the manhole.
