An air release on a forcemain line had a crack in the stem allowing some wastewater to escape while the pump was running. Evidence of some wastewater debris outside manhole in remote area. Discovered while staff was walking the line. Although the release of water was low it is hard to estimate the duration hence the estimate of 1000-10000 gallons. No water appeared to enter any brook or flowing water.
